We are a family of 6 and have spent a memorable 9 day tour around Sri Lanka in Dec.12. Due to bad weather, flooded roads and landslides, the trip was more adventurous than expected. Our driver/guide Tarindu however never lost focus and good humour, and he navigated us through every terrain. He adapted well to the tour program which we had tailored ourselves, and our choice of places to stay. He even had thought of buying umbrellas which were so much needed. Thanks for all. The sights and activities we enjoyed most were: Yala NP Safari, unspoiled Tangalla Beach, Nuwara Eliya, Turtle Hatchery, Galle Historic Town. Coconut Pancakes and Local strong beer 8.8 Vol. pct. were culinary highligts, Hotel Mansion near Kandy the favourite accomodation.
